Can you us a texas tax sale property for a rental property if I acquire a quit claim deed from the previous? - tax deed sale states

If the previous owner in writing that the redemption period, which satisfies the debt that they are, without a contract states otherwise. You are now the owner and the only person who is slightly below the tax lien could get the materials (or mechanics) would be for roofs.

You are free to do whatever he wants with the property - rent, live, or to destroy. Your basis is what you for the privilege of tax and the improvements you have made, paid for.
